FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING,
COMPASSIONATE INSTRUCTION.

My Teaching Philosophy
I believe in creating a comfortable and supportive learning environment while advocating improvement and refinement at the same time. I bring my experience, empathy and compassion to the world of music and performance to make it both fun and educational!
The music room can be a very vulnerable place and I believe in making it a safe one to feel your feelings and explore. Mistakes are encouraged and judgement is left at the door.
I teach on and around what has, for thousands of years been the traditional land of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, the Anishinabewaki, the Haudenosaunee, and Wendake-Nionwentsio.
To learn more about your own traditional lands, visit Native Land to explore your location. If you would like to contribute to Truth, Reconciliation and Reparations to our Indigenous communities who have suffered genocide and violence and continue to be silenced, I really love Indspire's work providing education and opportunities for Indigenous youth.
