Where do lessons take place?
Lessons take place either in my home studio, at your home or online. My home has a dedicated music room for us to sing in, and parents are welcome to wait in the living room or in the room with us. I am centrally located and find I am often a subway or short car ride away from most neighborhoods in Toronto. I am open to travelling to your place too if I have time in my schedule- during our intake we can discuss what area you are in and if I am able to commute to your location.
What do I need?
If you are hosting lessons in your own home, both voice and piano lessons will require a keyboard or piano of some kind. Acting or Open Music classes do not require any instruments.
Regardless of where you are doing lessons, you will need a binder or the recommended music books for each lesson - I will provide you with my recommended books at our first lesson.
How does payment work?
My payment structure is a little different than most other music schools. We work on an as-you-go payment structure. I will send you an invoice after your lesson is completed and you have 24hrs to send payment. This way you are not paying for lessons you haven't received, and no one has to stress about make-up lessons.
If you prefer a payment schedule we can talk about that and find one that works for you. Our goal is flexibility for both the teacher and the student so we can spend less time worrying about scheduling and more time having fun in lessons!
